Prior to starting with Champion Sports Radio, Paul was the number two play-by-play voice for Frisco RoughRider home games in 2019. He has also served as the 2018-2019 play-by-play voice for the University of North Texas soccer, volleyball and softball teams for C-USA TV, and he provided color commentary for UNT’s men’s and women’s basketball on ESPN+ productions. While at UNT, Paul also was the News Director at 88.1 KNTU and co-host of The Green Guys, KNTU’s weekly sports talk show. Born and raised in North Richland Hills, Texas, he graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2016 before pursuing a graduate degree in journalism from UNT. He’s a big sports fan and especially loves staying up late to watch games on the west coast.
